Skilled nursing and personal care for medically fragile children at home
The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP), run by the Georgia Department of Community Health, serves medically fragile children under 21 requiring skilled nursing care and/or personal care support.
GAPP makes it possible for children with complex medical needs to be cared for at home with their family — instead of in a facility.

Who qualifies
- A child under 21 who is medically fragile.
- Needs medically necessary skilled nursing care and/or personal care support.
- Is already receiving physician-ordered services.
- Has Georgia Medicaid (Carenbe handles the required prior authorization as your GAPP nursing agency).
